Student Financial Aid Office Helps Students Achieve Success

Offering Comprehensive Financial Assistance Programs

There is a possibility that the changes to the FAFSA form will change your financial aid eligibility. For an estimate of the financial aid you may be eligible for in 2024-25, please visit Federal Student Aid Estimator | Federal Student Aid.

The Student Aid Index (SAI) is an eligibility index number that Thomas College’s financial aid office uses to determine how much federal student aid you will receive. This number results from the information that you provide in your FAFSA form.

Did you file the FAFSA in 2023-24? If so, log in at Log In | Federal Student Aid and be sure the email address is correct. When the FAFSA launches, you will receive an email reminding you to apply. Your parent/guardian(s), now called contributors, will also need an FSA ID as paper signatures are no longer allowed. Be sure that all contributors have an FSA ID and can access their account.

If you did not file the 2023-24 FAFSA, you and all other contributors should create FSA IDs at Create Account | Federal Student Aid. Remember your username and password so you can more easily access and submit the FAFSA when it launches.

Reach out to Sydney Plourde or Jeannine Ross in Student Financial Services for a one-on-one meeting to discuss the process and changes, and to answer any of your questions.
